painting Wandering the Watersheds between the South Tyne, Tees & Wear

At the Summer Solstice 2012, from Monday 18 June to Friday 22 June, for five days and four nights I walked a figure-of-eight route that followed the watersheds of the rivers Wear, South Tyne and Tees, visiting the source of each.

The route was planned to be circular, but because of becoming completey soaked, I returned home from Troutbeck to change and fetch dry art materials on Day 3, so approached the source of the Tees via Cross Gill, returning to Garrigill via the Pennine Way.
